Advocacy

Advocating for our members and promoting the value of the equine veterinary profession to legislators and policymakers is an important priority for the AAEP. To do this, we address legislative and regulatory issues that affect the equine veterinary community, as well as the profession. We also strive to keep our members informed about Washington’s legislative and regulatory activities through advisories, articles, our Spur of the Moment e-newsletter and updates in Equine Veterinary Education.  We also aim to assist, when needed, with state legislative issues and information.
