AAEP Foundation Funding Application Deadline May 1

The American Association of Equine Practitioners’ Foundation will accept funding applications until May 1. Applications will be reviewed by the AAEP Foundation’s advisory committee and board in July.

Consideration for funding will be given to those requests that are dedicated to the mission and objectives of the AAEP Foundation. Priority emphasis will be given to applications that have the most impact on the health and welfare of the horse on a national and international scope or where emergency funding is needed. Funds will not be provided to “for-profit” individuals or groups. Funding requests for emergency or equine disaster relief support may be submitted to the Foundation at any time.

Application instructions, requirements and selection criteria can be found on the Foundation’s Web site at www.aaepfoundation.org.

The AAEP Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, was created in 1994 as the charitable arm of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. The AAEP Foundation's mission is to improve the health and welfare of the horse through support of research, education, benevolence and the equine community. Since its inception, the AAEP Foundation has allocated more than $1.5 million to support its mission and help horses.
