Clinic hours are from 7:30am to 5:00 pm weekdays, and from 8am to 12noon on Saturdays. Sometimes the daily work load exceeds the scheduled hours.
Goals of Externship:
This externship is designed to introduce the extern to a quality referral and general equine practice, which includes many advance modalities and techniques.

In last two years of Veterinary School

Practice Responsibilities to the Extern:
Provide exposure to a wide variety of medical, surgical, and ambulatory practice.
Externship Responsibilities to the Practice:
Work with Doctors and Vet Technicians including emergency and night treatments

Living Quarters:
Minimum 7 days and must be available for night emergencies. On-site accommodations for externs are available in the new clinic, on site.
