Philosophy of Internship:
To encourage the development of problem solving skills and their application to equine reproductive medicine. To provide mentorship and instillation of sound veterinary morals and ethics. To obtain a vast knowledge in the equine reproductive field.
Prerequisites of Application and Internship:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Must pass NAVLE exam and obtain Florida license

List of Internship Duties in Practice:
Perform reproductive ultrasounds on mares, time ovulation. Assist with stallion collections. Perform foal outs. Rotate between in-house and ambulatory clinicians.
Emergency Duty Requirements:
On call for foal outs and other reproductive emergencies.
Amount of Supervision:
All the work in the facility will be supervised by a clinician. Work in the field may not be supervised all the time.

$26,000.00
