Philosophy of Internship:
An introduction to private equine practice focusing on general practice, emergencies, surgery and anesthesia with exposure and guidence in reproduction, dentistry, radiology and practice management.
Prerequisites of Application and Internship:
Graduate or pending graduate of an AVMA accredited veterinary school.

List of Internship Duties in Practice:
Assist and perform surgeries, anesthetic monitoring, general practice in-house and ambulatory appointments including advanced dentistry and reproduction. Weekly rounds case discussions and article reviews.
Emergency Duty Requirements:
Shared emergency duty
Amount of Supervision:
Direct rotating supervision amongst all 5 veterinarians for the first 6 months, then indirect supervision for the remainder of the internship
Internship Salary:
$24,000/yr. Housing available and negotiable with contract.
