Membership Services Coordinator

(Full-Time Position)

 

The primary purpose of this position is to grow the AAEP’s membership through the development and execution of membership recruitment and retention programs. 

 

Primary job duties include the following:

 

  • Retains current AAEP members and increases membership satisfaction through the development of unique services for each AAEP membership segment.
  • Markets the AAEP to potential members and develops membership recruitment materials.
  • Implements a tracking and reporting system for membership statistics, including retention and new member recruitment.
  • Oversees membership affinity programs and pursues additional purchasing opportunities of benefit to the membership.
  • Conducts market research to measure member satisfaction and systematically gathers information from members regarding non-renewals.
  • Works with the student programs coordinator to promote student chapter membership and the conversion of new veterinary graduates to full-time members.
  • Represents the AAEP at industry trade show events

Required skills include:

 

·        Previous experience in a membership-driven business or association.

·        Demonstrated competency in membership database management and Crystal Reports.

·        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·        Customer service attitude.

·        Bachelor’s degree in related field.

·        Knowledge of the equine industry or veterinary profession is desirable.
