Equitarian Organizations & Programs

Back to Equitarian Outreach

Below you will find links to a number of organizations and programs that provide equitarian assistance to working equids around the world. Some of these organizations may have programs that provide direct assistance through outreach, education and assistance, while others may simply provide grants to support organizations that provide such direct assistance.

What You Should Know

The AAEP is providing this information and links to Equitarian projects and organizations as a service to members and others. There has been no screening or evaluation of this information or organizations and each person should evaluate each project and organization individually. Although AAEP members may be active in some of these programs, the AAEP does not have any direct connection or supervision of any of these programs or organizations unless specifically stated. Individuals considering donating to a program or organization should evaluate each opportunity. Individuals considering participation in a program should evaluate each opportunity with concern for their safety as it applies to travel and time spent in often underdeveloped areas. Inquiries should be directed to the individuals or groups listed with each program and to participating AAEP members.
