AAEP Foundation Past Presidents’ Research Fellow

The AAEP Foundation Past Presidents' Research Fellow, a $5,000 scholarship, is awarded annually to an AAEP member graduate or resident who is completing their residency or a graduate program while participating in equine research.

The EQUUS Foundation Research Fellow, a $5,000 scholarship, is awarded annually to two AAEP member graduates or residents who are completing their residency or a graduate program while participating in equine research.

Markel Insurance Company Inc./AAEP Foundation Scholarship

Eight outstanding veterinary students who have committed their careers to equine practice annually are selected to receive $2,500 scholarships from Markel Insurance Company and the AAEP Foundation. These scholarships are available to fourth-year veterinary students who are proven leaders in their veterinary school, advocates for equine welfare and academic achievers.

Winner’s Circle Scholarship
Presented by The Race For Education, Platinum Performance and the AAEP Foundation

One, $1,500 Winner's Circle Scholarship is awarded annually to fourth-year veterinary students at each University that has a National AAEP Student Chapter in North America and the West Indies. Qualified applicants may also be able to access an additional $3,000 in support through a related program.
