Individual & Companion Animal Memorial Programs

Individual Memorial Program

A memorial gift can be made to recognize the loss of a beloved family member, friend or colleague. Memorial gifts give you the peace of mind that you are doing what you can to promote better
Individual Memorial equine health and research in the name of a cherished loved one.

Donations of $25 or more can be made to the Foundation in the name of the person that has passed. Upon receiving the donation, a compassionate letter conveying sympathy over the loss of this person is sent to the designated contact. The letter communicates the Foundation’s commitment to supporting education, research and benevolent efforts for horses and their caretakers.

Companion Animal Memorial Program

The AAEP Foundation’s Companion Animal Memorial Program is designed for veterinarians, their clients and owners to remember an animal companion. Donations of $25 or more are made to the Foundation in the name of an animal friend that has passed on. Upon receiving the donation, a
Companion Memorial compassionate letter conveying sympathy over the loss of their animal companion is sent to the owner. The letter communicates the Foundation’s commitment to supporting education, research and benevolent efforts for horses and their caretakers.

Over the years, many veterinary practices have made this valuable program an important part of their client relations protocol. Because of this program, several owners whose horses and companion animals have been remembered have, in turn, made donations to the Foundation to fund additional equine and educational outreach.
