Discussion Lists - Our discussion lists are designed to improve communication among like-minded members, offer a forum for exchanging ideas, and allow you to benefit from the experience, knowledge, and wisdom of your peers.
Equine Welfare - “To protect the health and welfare of the horse” is one of the AAEP’s most important pursuits. Guided by its Equine Welfare Committee, the AAEP’s efforts include the development of guidelines that help veterinarians and the equine industry implement appropriate standards of humane care for the horse.

Unwanted Horse Veterinary Relief Campaign - The Unwanted Horse Veterinary Relief Campaign is a non-profit joint effort between Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health and the AAEP. Through the Unwanted Horse Veterinary Relief Campaign, qualifying equine rescue and retirement facilities can receive complimentary equine vaccines for horses in their care, protecting the horses’ health and making them more adoptable.
